The Fiscal 2008 Business Plan

1. Seeking to expand and promote education management companies and special education districts through:
---Encouraging nonmember companies to join the association;
---Publishing the FY '09 guidebook on member education management firms;
---Making reports on licensing local governments and distributing the reports to mass media and publishing them on the JAEMO Web site; and
---Attaining better public recognition by widely publicizing articles written by experts under specific themes, such as the influence of business corporations' participation in school management on the Japanese society and case studies on former "special district" schools that have succeeded in making national debuts.

2. Boosting content of the JAEMO Web site through:
---Adding an intermember communication function to allow member companies to exchange opinions with and making advises to each other on school management;
---Adding a function to accept inquiries and opinions from individuals such as students' parents; and
---Establishing links with member education management companies' Web sites and asking the members to specify on the sites that they are JAEMO members.

3. Conducting research and analyses on the current state of education management companies by:
---Assigning research and analysis work on specific topics to appropriate third parties in cooperation with the association's expert committees and publishing the results of those studies in book form.

4. Reinforcing activities of the board of directors and expert committees through:
---Holding meetings of the board and committees more frequently to monitor and review progress in the business plan (mainly on items 1-3 listed above) and the association's operations.
